this is my ppsh-41 prototype, made in 3ds Max 2010.

now, a new design feature of this futuristic re-imagining of the weapon is the coil wrapping the barrel. The coil is a cooling mechanism designed to freeze the barrel during extended use (the compound within the coil tubing could be nitrogen, i am not yet sure). However, despite this keeping the barrel from overheating, it does make it lethal for the user; their hands will suffer from the sub-zero temperatures. a way around this is to either wear gloves, or attach an under barrel grip, providing accuracy, safety and comfort.
